Densely tufted evergreen plant. Leaves are erect, pale pinkish brown and roughly 30cm long, with curled tips. Flowers are borne in early and midsummer. These are stubbly, red-brown spikes, 1-3cm long which grow on stems (roughly 25cm long). This plant grows to about 25cm tall and 15cm wide. This plant is not drought tolerant.
