Kniphofia 'Winter Cheer'

This plant is clump forming with linear green-blue leaves. Flowers are quite attractive to bees. Flowering occurs in winter (hence the name) and the flowers are an orange/red colour. This plant is quite hardy. Kniphofias are pretty small plants, usually under 1m in height, but this variety is slightly over a metre. The width however is pretty small (under a metre). This plant is not drought tolerant.
