Eucalyptus sideroxylon

Relatively large tree with spreading crown. Bark is thick, blackish to red-brown in colour. Young leaves are straight and bluish-green in colour. The adult leaves which follow this are lance-shaped and grey-green in colour. Flowers are red, pink, white or pale yellow and are borne from winter to summer. Eucalyptus sideroxylon can grow to about 30m high.
