A dwarf form of Pandanus that generally grows to only about 0.5 m and has straplike leafy form. It has long, narrow grass-like leaves edged with clear yellow and is effectively a groundcover. the leaf edges are sharp and it should not be planted where there is likely to be traffic. One report suggest that it is a valuable riparian plant capable of absorbing heavy metals and nutrients. This is not a drought tolerant plant.
