Evergreen spreading shrub (1.5m x 1.5m) from ACT and NSW. Stiff needle-like leaves ending in a sharp point. Yellow-green or red spider-like flowers at the ends of branches in spring. Many cultivated varieties including prostrate form available. Useful for a low screen, groundcover, mixed with other shrubs or specimen. Bird attracting. Hardy.
