Spreading tree from China. Leaves are large (45cm long) and pinnate. Each leaf has about 10 leaflets attached. The emerging leaves are a pink/red colour which gradually change to yellow in autumn. Flowers are small, yellow in colour and are borne in mid and late summer. Following the flowering, fruit capsules are formed which are red or pink in colour. Koelreuteria paniculata grows to about 10m tall and 10m wide.
