Indian upright plant with lance-shaped, greyish-green leaves. Flowers are fragranced, yellow in colour with bright red stamens. Flowering occurs in later summer and early autumn. Hedychium gardnerianum grows to about 2m high and 1m wide. This plant is drought tolerant.
