Widespread grassy tuft. Leaves are average size and dark green in colour. Flowers are deep blue in colour with black anthers. Flowering occurs in spring and summer. Following the flowering is the production of shiny dark-blue berries. Dianella revoluta grows to about 0.3m high and 0.5m wide. Poisonous berries.
